Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our team. As a VDA at Saxon Accident Repair Group, you will be responsible for assessing the damage to vehicles and preparing accurate reports to ensure repairs are carried out to the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute to the growth and success of a well-established company.
The Role will involve but is not limited to
- Conduct thorough assessments of damaged vehicles and prepare accurate, detailed reports.
- Liaise with customers, insurance companies, and repair teams to ensure an efficient repair process.
- Estimate repair costs, parts, and labor requirements.
- Ensure that all assessments are in line with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update vehicle repair records.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in accident repair.
- Ensure excellent customer service by providing clear communication regarding repair progress and timescales.
Experience/Knowledge
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) or in a similar role is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair processes and Audatex estimating systems.
- Ability to accurately assess damage and prepare costed estimates.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A full driving license is required.
